About our Council The South Milwaukee Council was founded in 1914 through the efforts of the charter members. It is named after the city it was founded in. The South Milwaukee Council works closely with the following parishes in our area: Divine Mercy in South Milwaukee; Nativity of the Lord in Cudahy; and St. Matthews in Oak Creek, providing funds for various projects, members being active participants in their parish. etc.
In accordance with Executive Order #67 issued by the Governor of Virginia on November 13, 2020 the George Brent Council of the Knights of Columbus can continue our Bingo program and will continue to follow all related Guidelines to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This includes requiring face coverings for all players and workers, temperature checks at the door, and maintaining strict social distancing protocols.
All players must enter the Hall through the main doors or the handicapped entrance by the Clubroom.
